Welcome to Technologue. Your travel guide to the future. The title of this post is the famous quote from Robert Kennedy. Apropos I think for this site and this time. A brief repeat of our About page describes our purpose:
Technologue is like a travelogue for the future. We espouse out thoughts and ideas about the future, technology, the singularity, science, the system of the world, the web and where we came from and where we are going. We’ll review new technologies, preview new ideas and provide guidance about application of these ideas. These concepts our thoughts about these topics and no one else’s. You may or may not agree with them but hopefully they will make you think.
Technologue was inspired my many sources: Robert Anton Wilson and Maybe Logic, Timothy Leary, R.U. Sirius, FringeWare, David Deutsch, Fred Alan Wolf, Robert Hooke, the writings of Neal Stephenson, Ray Kurzweil, the former CyberSpace Institute BBS, Brian Of, the Future Culture mailing list, and many, many others. But especially R. Buckminster Fuller who said, “Life is technology.”
